Thomas Carder.
This is another one of those not so smart complete wackos that give christians
a bad name. This guy firmly believes that 1) Hollywood is evil.
2) All films are produced by Hollywood (even independent ones). 3)
All kids are highly impressionable by any film, and will adopt any "negative"
behaviors presented in the film (even if they are depicted as negative).
4) Every single satanic and anti-christian pop culture myth and urban legend
is true. 5) Everything in his version of the Bible is true (although
there are several quotes that he uses that I've never been able to find
with a standard Catholic bible, or that use words that were not around
in Christ's time). When he reviews films, he doesn't actually review
them (unlike he believes) but just coughs up statistics on how 'immoral'
and 'impressionable' they are. He adds a scorecard at the bottom
of his review, where he summarizes acts of violence, sex, foul language,
alcohol, offenses to God, hate, and etc. Many of the things he lists
in any of the categories are such bizarre choices (e.g. listing flatulence
as a form of hate) that one cannot help but laugh.
He's also not so bright, let's say. For example, he doesn't review
foreign movies because the subtitles distract him from what is going on
on the screen, and needs to watch them on video to stop it often to understand
what is going on...
Basically, he hates every film other than Mary Poppins.
His reviews are very entertaining, but only in the same sense as Plan
9 from Outer Space...
